Dear Nancy,
Thank you for your query. I think that my survival from the Holocaust had the greatest impact on my faith and resilience. This was reinforced by my realization that G-d had been by my side during those severe accidents that I went through in the Bronx. Finally, it was further enhanced by my interaction with the far-flung Jewish communities, during which I was faced with multiple risks and perils but remained unscathed.
