Rick Lenz – When I retired from my career as a stage and film actor, having had the privilege of performing alongside remarkable talents such as Ingrid Bergman, John Wayne, Lauren Bacall, Walter Matthau, and Peter Sellers, my passion for storytelling did not retire with me. Acting had been a central part of my life, but writing had always been close behind.
I want to sincerely commend you on writing Faith, Hope and Resilience. Stories like yours carry immense value because they preserve history while reminding us of the extraordinary strength of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable hardship. Your courage in sharing such a personal and painful chapter of history is deeply inspiring, and it offers an important lesson for future generations who must never forget the sacrifices and struggles that shaped our world.
May I ask if your book is available in an audiobook format? At the age of 86, I find it increasingly difficult to keep my eyes fixed on printed pages due to astigmatism, and listening to books has become a much more comfortable way for me to enjoy meaningful stories.
Alongside my writing career, I also used KDP Books Publishing to help place books into wider distribution channels, including bookstores and libraries. Through KDP’s network, it became possible to move books beyond simple online listings and into physical spaces where readers naturally discover new work. That small side venture grew surprisingly well over the years and eventually earned me a rather handsome bungalow here in Florida.
